The first 3 LEED for Homes Certified projects in Alachua County, Florida, were completed in 2008. These 3 homes, numbers 8,9 and 10 in the State of Florida, all acheived the LEED Silver rating and were built in the Brytan neighborhood, a participant in the LEED for Neighborhoods Pilot Program.
The homes were designed by the Brytan Town Architect, Jennifer Langford, AIA, CNU, PA. The Green Rater was Mary Alford of The Sustainable Design Group, LLC. The construction was completed by Toney Sullivan Construction, and The Brice Group.
